The PLASA Show is returning to Olympia London this September and we’re delighted to once again be the show’s technical sponsor. The three-day event, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary, offers visitors unparalleled access to the industry’s best-known brands alongside a programme of interactive and thought provoking content.

Running from 17th – 19th September, this year promises to be the biggest ever, with a host of exciting product launches and seminars from over 100 world class speakers. Our expert team will also be on hand to talk all things technical, exhibiting our range of services on stand L20.

We’re also thrilled to be a spotlight sponsor at this year’s Knight of Illumination (KOI) Awards – the industry’s largest awards celebrating the outstanding achievements of experts in lighting and video design. Taking place on 17th September at London’s Eventim Apollo, this year’s ceremony with see Knight of Illumination celebrate their 10th anniversary. We’re thrilled to be sponsoring the award for Projection Design, an aspect of production that has seen an explosion of growth and innovation in recent years.

Combining these two key industry events, we’re excited to be collaborating with KOI Awards and the PLASA Show to create an exciting new exhibition space at this year’s PLASA Show. The space, located upstairs at the London Olympia exhibition halls, has been specifically created to showcase the shortlisted and winning designers of this year’s KOI Awards. All visitors to the show are invited to see the showcase of work created by the shortlisted lighting and video designers, and following Sunday’s ceremony, an update with the winning designs.

Martin Hawthorn, CEO of Hawthorn said: “We are delighted to be supporting two of the industry’s key events once again this year whilst also working on a very exciting project that brings them both together.

“Over the last ten years we have watched the Knight of Illumination Awards grow into the most reputable and appreciated Awards of its kind. We wanted to increase the reach of the Awards to a broader audience by showcasing the industry's top design talent from Theatre, Television, Concert Touring & Events to everyone at the PLASA Show.”
