WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - LONDON

Many of our team started with us working in our warehouse and have progressed to become Technicians and Project Managers******
Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Park Royal London, NW10
Hours: 40 hours per week, plus overtime as required
Hawthorn, the creative technical event production expert, has a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team looking after our extensive technical entertainment equipment of lighting, audio, video, automated lighting, power distribution, rigging, drapes and effects.
With a reputation for excellent customer service and high standards of equipment, Hawthorn are looking for highly organised and personable individual to join our rapidly expanding team.
Working mainly in the warehouse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Physically picking hires to go out to customers, returning hires
- Filling in paper work, such as picking lists & return sheets, in conjunction with our computer stock control system, inspHire
- Dealing with customers
- Maintaining, testing, and stock checking technical equipment
- Maintain our busy and ever-growing drapes department
- Driving vans, delivering & collecting equipment to site
- Rigging and derigging equipment on site as required
A team player (essential) a great communicator (essential) experienced in stock control or have a willingness to learn (desirable) experienced in working with lighting, sound and AV technologies (desirable) good computer skills (desirable) Forklift license (desirable)
Important: this role requires some heavy lifting.
Where you'll be
The job is based at our site in Park Royal, London.
Core hours are 40 hours, Monday to Friday between 8.00 am – 6.00 pm, overtime as and when required.
