If you need technical equipment and staging permanently installing in your venue or performance space, Hawthorn can help.

Since 1987, we’ve installed lighting, sound, video and related equipment into a huge range of venues, working sensitively within each space to create a technical infrastructure tailored to deliver the performance capabilities you wish to achieve.

From a school hall to a contemporary art gallery, heritage building to broadcast studio, church to exhibition centre, Hawthorn’s specialist Install team is dedicated to creating the technical solution that’s perfect for the space, from initial consultation to commissioning and maintenance.

We can support you with costings, project planning, equipment installation and - after the job is completed - with maintenance and routine servicing through our ServiceSafe support package.

Hawthorn’s experienced installation project managers are experts in delivering technical support to a vast range of events, from conferences and ceremonies to theatre productions and music concerts. So, the solutions they propose are always practical and based upon the equipment and technology they know deliver the best results for your venue and performance needs. Crucially, they don’t recommend the installation of any equipment that they wouldn’t use themselves.

They’re passionate about what they do – and it shows.

Our service doesn’t end when your equipment installation is complete.

Regular maintenance and servicing is vital to ensuring equipment is in full working order. Hawthorn’s ServiceSafe team offer safety audits and full testing and certification of electrical, rigging and technical equipment, meaning that you can go about your work safe in the knowledge that essential maintenance is taken care of.

We keep all records for you and remind you when re-tests are needed and our experienced City and Guilds and NICEIC certified engineers will arrange to carry out testing at a time convenient for your venue and environment.

For your safety and peace of mind Hawthorn’s teams have NICEIC accreditation and are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked.

We work to the highest health and safety standards and we pride ourselves on our friendly approach and professionalism at all times.
