Installation Systems Integration Manager

Position:    Installation Systems Integration Manager
Location:   Old Dalby, Leicestershire
Hours:      40 hours per week, plus overtime as required
Salary:      Negotiable, depending on experience

Hawthorn, the technical event production expert is looking for an experienced Installations Systems Integration Manager to join its busy permanent technical equipment installation team.

You will be working as part of a team delivering audio, video and lighting equipment installations in theatres, museums, educational establishments and some of the most recognised and historically important buildings within the UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading installation design, developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients, consultants and main contractors to deliver installations on time and on budget.

You will be experienced in delivering CAD designs and drawings to meet client specifications and take the lead in developing O&M materials for clients. Not only that, but you’ll be leading the specialist commissioning, specialist servicing and training for our permanent installations department. 

Your responsibilities

• To undertake computer aided design work as instructed.
• To design relevant installations to budget and clients’ expectations.
• To advise site personnel in person or over the phone regarding any technical queries.
• To ensure installation and servicing staff have sufficient information to enable them to undertake site work effectively.
• To ensure that projects fit within budget and time restraints and to keep relevant management informed.
• To keep accurate expense records and mileage reports.
• To maintain accurate records of visits within the companies CRM database.
• Attendance at trade shows.
• To keep up to date with advancements in both technology and procedures.
• To contribute to meetings and set targets within the department.
• To advise on relevant and latest equipment suitable for current projects.

• Full driving license
• Industry experience
• Computer literate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Positive, self-motivated approach
• Effective communication with great verbal and written skills

Where you'll be

The job is based at our office/headquarters in Leicestershire. However, travel will be required to attend site meetings and working with colleagues across our bases in London and Cambridge.
